Last weekend, Massachusetts had its first glimpse of spring. With temperatures reaching into the low sixties, I pulled out my sun dresses and sandals – spring fever has hit! One of the major trends this season is nude tones, ranging from beige to bronze to blush. This trend is perfect for spring because it’s so versatile: pair a slouchy nude cardigan with white jeans for a beachy, casual look, lengthen your legs with nude heels, or let bright accessories pop against a nude dress. Let’s check out my favorite runway looks:

I love this trend because it can be styled in a way that’s soft and romantic. My style is ultra-feminine; I adore bows, florals, and lace. I made this trend my own with a sun dress, my spring staple.

I cinched the waist of this gorgeous Modcloth dress with a magenta belt to add a pop of color and to create a flattering hourglass shape. The Doc Martens inject this look with bold personality. While ordinarily, I wouldn’t wear Docs – they’re simply not my style, although I appreciate them on others – the floral print and olive green laces create a quirky, playful vibe that’s simply irresistable. To top off the look, slip on a pair of oversized sunnies with nude tortoiseshell frames. The ensemble is light, airy, and perfect for spring.

Are you wearing nudes this spring? If so, how do you plan on styling the trend?
