After a long day, there’s nothing I like better than to curl up in my room watching old Sex and the City episodes on my laptop. (Now that school is out, I’ve been spending more time with Carrie and the girls than I probably should.) I started taking a few pictures of my room, and I like the background colors a lot. And – rejoice! – there’s space for full body shots, so I can prove that I actually have feet! (And, you know, wear shoes.) Take a look at the new lookbook space; once I put together a blog-worthy outfit or two, you’ll be seeing a lot more of this room:
Audrey is always watching.
This is where the accessory magic happens. The Dora the Explorer card is courtesy of my little ballerinas. (So. Cute.)
Currently on my nightstand: my phone, my favorite pair of earrings, the extra sequins from Devon’s prom dress, my Holly Gonightly sleep mask from Fred Flare, and a book on vintage fashion.
A girl can never have too many pairs of black shoes, right?
Dress, Fire. Glasses, vintage, from my Great-Great-Aunt Gladys. Furniture, vintage, from my Great-Grandma Sally. Afghan, handmade, from my Grandma Rose. Audrey poster, from Ikea.
Unsurprisingly, my room was decorated with Blair’s room in mind. (Mais oui, bien sûr.)
What do you think of this new space for lookbooks? Better than the old cream walls in the guest room? (I think so!)
