Eighteen years young and loving life. Originally from Boston, I'm a freshman at New York University. I spend my days writing, studying, and spending too much money in coffee shops in Greenwich Village. My favorite things include traveling, yoga, leopard print shoes, bagels and coffee, Frank Sinatra, and my little sister Julia. Armed with my trusty Macbook, a pair of pink patent leather platform sandals, and love for words, I present you with my blog: Mademoiselle Hannah.
I'm the high school editor for Her Campus and a staff writer for Washington Square News.
Reading, Loving, Living
"Of all the great cities in the world, New York is still the one that holds the biggest glittery, giddy promise of promise - the idea that if you have something to say, do, be, create, try, or conquer, you can do it here, that the romance of the self can actually be fulfilled. The young, ambitious types who set out for New York with movie-made notions of what's to come discover that the city is in fact better than the fantasy, because there's so much more to the place than they were able to imagine." - Roberta Myers
“Whatever you’re seeking, you already are.” – Jenna Hussey
"The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun." - Carrie Bradshaw
"The true New Yorker secretly believes that people living anywhere else have to be, in some sense, kidding." - John Updike
"The best-dressed women I know pay very little attention to the picayune aspects of fashion, but they have a sound understanding of style." - Amy Vanderbilt
