APU$HA

June 8, 2010

After my history class took the AP test in May, we were planning on relaxing for the rest of the school year by watching historically-based movies in class. It wasn’t long before inspiration struck, and we decided to create a music video for the upcoming APUSH students. The lyrics are chock full of historical references and Devon did an amazing job filming and editing. (And don’t tell me you don’t want one of our Vote for Tweed t-shirts! They’re limited edition.)

I’m a total history nerd, so I think the entire video is hysterically funny. (Don’t blame me, I voted for Henry Clay.)

In all seriousness, APUSH was by far my best experience at NHS. It was an incredibly challenging course and I practically had to glue The American Pageant to my body for eight months, but I learned a ton of history and actually enjoyed the class. Besides, finishing up in early May and getting to make awesome music videos like this one is pretty fantastic, too.

Your cousin, Max’s school decided that once the AP exam was over so was class. I have no idea what he does in those time slots…
