Lookbook: Tea Party

When I was four years old, I received a beautiful “china” tea set. I loved to set out white and pink tea cups with matching saucers for my menangerie of stuffed animals and served lukewarm tap water out of a pink pitcher. I even held my pinky finger out in an exaggerated, affected manner because I thought it made me look sophisticated! Over ten years later, I still find tea parties utterly charming. I’ve even held a few of my own, albeit with real guests and real tea.

I spotted Sugar & Spice’s virtual tea party on IFB and I’m looking forward to virtually “attending.” She asked attendees to send in outfit photos for her party. Naturally, I got dressed up and took a few outfit photos. Now that I have the perfect outfit, I’m dying to go to a real tea party to take this outfit for a spin!

As for refreshments, lemon ginger tea and vanilla cupcakes are the way to go!
