Readers: Thank You!

July 16, 2010

To my readers: You are amazing!

This summer, I’m interning for Her Campus, a fabulous online lifestyle magazine. I recently started looking at Google Analytics’ statistics for the site. I found the traffic source statistics especially intriguing. While playing around with the traffic source page, I discovered something very cool: readers directed to Her Campus via my blog have the second-highest pages per visit rate. (440% higher than the site average!) Conclusion? You guys are incredible! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support! Thank you!

To help out Her Campus and be entered to win some awesome prizes, I would love if you could spend just two minutes filling out a short survey! You can also like HC on Facebook and follow HC on Twitter! Currently, we have 3,586 Facebook fans and 734 Twitter followers; our goal is to get those numbers up to 5,000 and 2,000. Help us reach our goal!

And now for a shopping update! I purchased a fantastic dress on Kembrel, a sample sale site exclusive for students. It’s the “Casino Cat” dress by Laundry; I’m completely obsessed with it! It’s a dolman sleeve dress done in a vibrant pink and blue animal print. I love the low V in back – what a stunning twist! Kembrel suggested I wear it backwards for an alternative neckline. When I received the dress in the mail last night, I discovered a few other neckline possibilities, one-shouldered or off-the-shoulder. Check it out:

    The dress is beautiful
I prefer the V neck at the back it gives you an elegant back
and on-shoulder for the front it keeps it more classic and more unexpected to see some skin at the back

Thank you! And I agree with you – showing less skin in front makes the V in back more unexpected. It’s my favorite way to wear the dress!
