Like a Goddess

July 28, 2010

In return for interning these past few weeks, the lovely ladies at Daniela Corte gave me this beautiful dress today. It’s called the Goddess Dress, and for good reason. With its dramatic kimono silhouette, beautiful mulberry silk, and breezy fit, the dress certainly makes me feel like a goddess. Daniela’s clothing is feminine, bold, and chic; the Goddess Dress is no exception!

I wore this outfit around Boston today. After working at Daniela’s studio, I had a fabulous time at running around the city with my friend Sophie! We went to Stil’s closing sale at the Liberty Hotel. The clothes were gorgeous! Stil is closing at the end of this week; the Boston fashion community will truly miss it. (On a side note, I just saw the new Stil Studio – it’s gorgeous!) After leaving the hotel, we got embarrassingly lost on the T (apparently the inbound and outbound trains go in entirely opposite directions, who knew?) and ended up at Faneuil Hall. I bought a delightfully delicious $7.00 peach smoothie (crazy price, but so good). We finished the day at Berklee. What a fun day! Running around the city in a glorious dress with fabulously-dressed friends makes me feel like I’m a SATC character!

Lovely day. Lovely, lovely day. How was your day? What are you up to?

I’m interning for Daniela Corte (a fashion designer) and Her Campus (www.hercampus.com) on alternating days. It’s truly been an amazing experience! How’s your summer?
